On April 6, 2021, guests began dining in the community hall at Women’s Lunch Place for the first time since the pandemic struck last year. This marks an exciting and significant step toward our goal of operating a full-capacity community and traditional services at our shelter and advocacy center.

Recently, we sat down (virtually) with a local attorney named Chris Malloy. On December 9th, Chris created an Instagram post with the purpose of raising funds for some of his favorite local organizations. By December 31st, he was wrapping up a campaign that had snowballed to include over 170 contributors, a cameo from celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern, and an incredible amount of collective effort.
