We encourage self-expression, wellness and skill training. We support the housing search process and emergency assistance for housing stabilization.

A Growing Need:
Our work in the year ahead will be to meet the growing needs of our guests. Despite the economic expansion in our state, Massachusetts has the unfortunate distinction of leading the Nation for elder economic instability. Three out of four elders in Massachusetts do not have enough money to pay for basic necessities. Many of our guests are 55 or older, single and homeless. Many have experienced trauma and are further challenged by mental health and substance use disorders. Because of our talented team, Women’s Lunch Place provides innovative programming and collaborative partnerships that create real pathways leading to a woman's stability and transformation.
