CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Evaluation Process
The Board reviews the Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) performance on an annual basis.
There is a formal process for evaluation which consists of a template outlining the major areas of responsibilities for the CEO. In each area, there are provisions for indicating both the Impact/Results achieved and Opportunities for further development. The CEO submits a self-evaluation to the President, and the template is completed by the President and Vice President.
The WLP Board HR Committee surveys prevailing compensation rates for similar positions in the area.
The evaluation and recommended percentage increase in pay are presented to the Executive Committee for approval.
Following approval by the Executive Committee…
the full Board meets in Executive Session to be informed of the results of the evaluation process
the President delivers the document to the CEO and schedules a meeting with CEO to discuss
The pay increase is put through payroll on the anniversary of CEO’s last evaluation/increase.
