The Spaghetti Dinner is Women’s Lunch Place’s signature fall event which began more than 30 years ago as a homemade fundraising dinner in the shelter. Today, it is a popular Back Bay charity event which raises critical funds to support vital programs, services, and healthy meals to over 1,400 guests each year. This year, our goal is $520,000 for our Meals and Advocacy programs.

Event Sponsor Benefits

  • Over 400 guests attend.
  • The fundraising goal is $520,000. Your participation as a sponsor, auction donor, or advertiser will ensure that we will reach this goal to support the important work of Women’s Lunch Place.

  • Live & Silent Auction: The fundraising auctions & raffle will feature items at a range of values to ensure that all guests can enjoy bidding on this entertaining part of the evening. Donations are needed for merchandise, gift certificates, or exclusive one-of-a-kind items.

Supports two months of the advocacy program, which assists guests one-on-one with issues including homelessness, mental health, legal assistance, and crisis intervention.

Limoncello: $15,000
Supports housing search and stabilization efforts to ensure that every woman has a safe and secure place to call home.

Holy cannoli: $10,000
Funds the cost of one week of our meals program, providing nutritious food, whole grains, fresh produce, and protein. WLP serves an average of 1,719 meals each week.

Antipasto: $5,000
Supports the annual rent and utilities at the shelter at 67 Newbury Street, providing a safe community for women to receive physical and emotional sustenance in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

Fettuccine al friendo: $3,000
Funds our Resource Center & Library, where guests can use computers, phones, and our peaceful space to search for jobs and housing, and learn new skills.

Women’s Lunch Place is a 501 (c) 3 organization. Gifts in excess of $75 per ticket may be considered a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by law. We appreciate your generous support of Women’s Lunch Place.

The Spaghetti Dinner After Party follows directly after and is hosted by the WLP Young Professionals. Featuring drinks, desserts, a raffle, and live music by The Chicken Slacks, the Spaghetti Dinner After Party is a fun way to introduce yourself to Women’s Lunch Place and the Young Professionals community.
