About the Performers:
Jackie Foster has just stepped off the national stage after appearing on NBC’s hit TV show “The Voice” after making it as semi-finalist. Whether it’s pop, rock, R&B, jazz or your favorite classic hit, Jackie Foster’s soulful voice and unique interpretive style will leave a lasting impression.
Brandon Diaz is a gifted and highly accomplished vocalist, songwriter and musician. He has recently expanded his reach worldwide after being a Top 24 contestant on the latest reboot of American Idol on ABC. Brandon’s captivating and soulful voice, and exceptional musicality, is equaled by his exemplary showmanship and professionalism.
Opening for Jackie and Brandon is Jackie Giroux. Raised in Wellesley, MA, she asked for her first guitar at age 4 and has been playing ever since. Jackie was discovered by Matt Smith, the owner of Club Passim as a freshmen in high school. She often performs at Club Passim and has opened for various artists, including Lori Mckenna. Jackie will be attending Berklee College of Music in the fall.
About the Cause:
Women’s Lunch Place (WLP) is a safe, welcoming daytime shelter for more than 225 women each day who are experiencing poverty or homelessness. We offer a supportive & dignified community, healthy meals, and individualized services to encourage women to make positive changes in their lives. The meals program, direct care services and critical interventions provide women the opportunity to improve their lives while making healthy choices about food, increasing access to and information about healthcare, and participating in supportive services including housing assistance, job search, legal aid, art therapy and wellness activities, and healthcare.
Proceeds from the concert will ensure that WLP continues to help heal women, restore their sense of belonging, and support them as they work to regain their confidence and rebuild their lives.
