In-Kind Donations
Drop off Days and Times
Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
During these designated drop off times, there will be a staff person or volunteer available to assist you. Tax-receipts will only be given out during the designated drop off hours. You can also request one by calling Megan (617-267-1722).
Most Useful Donations:
- Raingear, umbrellas, large women's and unisex clothing, socks, maternity clothing, and women's undergarments new or in good condition
- Personal and family size toiletries
- Small, new items for guest birthday gifts.
- Unused cosmetic , personal and family size toiletries
- Household items. Please call Linda to confirm specific needs.
- Please call ahead before donating large amounts of items or household items, or if you have any questions. Call our Support Services Coordinator, Linda Burston at (617) 267-1722 ext. 32
We Do Not Accept:
- Any damaged or dirty items.
- Furniture.
- Used soap, toothbrushes and cosmetics.
- Vitamins and cold remedies past their expiration date and personal prescriptions.
- Food items, unless arranged with the Kitchen Coordinator Gina Demling at (617-267-1722 ext. 30)
Useful Tips
We are unable to pick up donations, but are pleased to provide assistance if you call ahead.
Feel free to park momentarily in our back alley to drop off any donations. We can block the alley for up to ten minutes. We understand that parking in this area is quite difficult, but we ask that you don't park in any designated parking spots .
If you call ahead before you arrive we will arrange for staff or volunteers to assist with the drop-off process, but please remember this is only possible during the scheduled drop off times.
Donations of clean clothing are appreciated.
